I have the V16 Proton, and I love it. Smooth easy breathing, with a low profile. Some people complain because the exhaust tee is so short, and the bubbles come up in front of their face, but if you're horizontal it's not a problem. I can see where it could be problematic if you're a photographer, but otherwise it's great.

i bought one in february and i loved you get a great regulator for a reasonable prize, i have no complains about this regulator

The V16 Proton in standard form or metal version is a high quality product for a fair price. The standard version can be found for around $200 if you shop around. This is an excellent value. I suggest that you check with www.scubatoys.com.
