Hi...new to the site, but a fanatic about anything underwater. My 20 year old Citizen dive watch has died, and I am looking for a replacement. Does anyone have experience with the Luminox watches? Or the Seikos? For that matter any suggestions would be great. Loved my Citizen, but care and feeding got expensive, and a local jeweler is pushing me away from them anyway. THANKS!

I have two Luminox watches. Both are dead. Long story - short. Luminox's service is the worst on the planet.
I now have only Seikos and two Citizen (dive watchs) which I really like so far.

I've have three Luminox watches. Lost one, still have the other two. They work flawlessly. And, you can read them at night, all night.
I had a Seiko Eco drive dive watch for 5 years (200m water proof), it was accurate and never needed a battery. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because my brother's watch broke and he needed it more than I.
I have a Seiko Automatic that has held up well over the last year or so.

Seiko for sure, never had a problem with them ever...I have one of the 300 Professional dive watches...but I think its a Japan only model as Ive never seen it anywhere else...I can get the model number if you are interested...good luck

I'm leaning more towards the Citizen Infusion 300 now...any thoughts on it?

I've got the older analog Citizen Aqualand ecodrive. Never let me down in the decade I've had it.
I do wear a Doxa SUB600T when I'm out and about though...

There is nothing mentioned here that has similar features as the Luminox.
The Tritium capsules glow 24/7 and altho I may develop wrist cancer....
Excellent for travel when you awake reassured that it's 0300 and still wonder, "Where the hell am I?"
My last was blown off of my wrist on 01/01/00, this new one has kept ticking since.
I can't imagine what kind of warranty one might want to exercise, but in this price range- try to be realistic here- they are disposable.
