By following this thread and others on watches, and checking out all those mentioned,
I settled on the Wenger "Deep Diver" watch rated to 1000m. It's a beautiful time piece, all stainless, with a stainless band that opens up another link (about 3/4 to 1 inch) to fit over an exposure suit. Swiss movement/swiss made with 3 year warranty.
After finding it on the Leisure Pro website, I walked over to the store and checked it out. MSRP is $400 or so, and they have it on sale for $220! So far a great purchase, but let's see what happens when I get it wet. They have a version of the watch rated for 200m for half this price, still a good deal. But I wanted the added security of multiple O-rings and the greater water resistance.
