I am looking to buy a tank or 2 (finally!). Renting has become too much hassle to be efficient but money is tight so I figured I would call upon the fellow Great Lakes Divers to see if anyone has some tanks in the closet or garage they need to clear out for a decent price. I have been diving AL80's (rentals, 3000 PSI) but would like to move to steel if the price is right. My SAC on the AL80's is pretty good (IMO) but something slightly larger wouldn't be such a a bad thing. Maybe an AL100/120 or steel 100/120. My main limit is price right now. I don't want to go smaller than an 80 though. My regs are yoke.

I am in Dayton, OH but willing to travel a reasonable distance for the right deal.

PM me anything you have, specs price etc and I'll take them all into consideration!

Thanks!
Rob

Rob, I own al80's and an Al100. I don't think i'd recommend the 100 due to the weight. If you're going to go that size range, I recommend steel.

Rob,
If you haven't found something by the end of the summer and you'd settle for AL 80's I have a bunch I'm looking to sell, hydrod and VIP'd at the beginning of this month. If interested I can drag them out to school with me and meet you halfway.

I have a AL80 that is in hydro and current VIP I could sell you. I also have a steel LP120 that is current and is also O2 clean.

I will have a bunch at the Christmas in July Sale at Divers Incorporated on July 17...
