for me best reg set up is Scubapro mk25 first stage / g250v second stage both are air balanced regs...they are workhorse, i dive 2 times every month and i have a reg set up that consist in a mk25 first stage / scubapro g250 air balanced second stage,r 295 classic downstream valve second stage octopus reg and three gauge console from uwatec...i have tried different brands of regs and for me there is no better work of breathing as the scubapro g250v air balanced second stage reg with mk25 air balanced first stage reg..
 
I have this regulator and the primary stage has failed twice in less than 50 dives. I might have a lemon but I consider this regulator dangerous and will be reporting it to DAN.
