That's a fair way to look at it. A couple that I've found are in the 400-500 range. So am I willing to pay 600-700 for a side mount reg set that retails for $1300? I mean, it still sounds like a good deal...

Ultimately, I really don't know though. That's why I'm reaching out for feedback. For $1100 this seems like a great deal, but I welcome any suggestions on what might be a better deal for $1k ish.

probably as good as you are going to find right now unless if you find a deal on a used setup. i did see on ebay that a hollis sms100 and a set of the older dc regs went for less than 600
