So is it worth converting an FSR to side mount or better replace it with something else?

FSR is not ideal for Sidemount as you want a rotating turret.

And oh btw if someone would be interested , i did my intro to tek course with 2 FSR first stages, without 5th port and pointing like Tek3 (so not crossing) and it was good!
