I've had the Akona Deluxe Mesh Duffle and while it was good, I wanted something a bit more durable and solid. I found the Akona Mesh Boat Duffel Bag (AKB514) a bit more durable. I've got the older version of this.

Though the Mares Technomad 100 Mesh Bag at Scubatoys looks like a heck of a deal right now. :)

I've got 2 of the Akona Deluxe mesh duffels and after going through a few of them initially due to a manufacturing defect that my LDS happily took care of, they've been bullet proof ever since. Of course, I can see that they're straining a bit in places when I've got them loaded up so if they break in 6-12 months I'll have to replace them but at under $30 per bag, it isn't too expensive to replace.

My son uses this from Akona. $20. and perfect for the job. Snorkeling Bag

I have a couple Akona pieces and love them. However, these duffles/backpacks do not look like they can be carry-ons for the airlines. Only get 45 linear inches.
