Weather permitting, I would like to see if I can get any takers for this dive.

Hopefully early the surf will be down and parking will be available.

This will be a nice easy dive, pretty close in to shore (as opposed to the usual 1/2 mile swim out and back).

Any takers?

Never dove off Datura, but I can't imagine much of a difference.

Looks like the forecast has improved

Datura is a nice site. It is just south of commercial in LBTS.

There is a really close in reef, then there is a nicer one a couple hundred feet out. I have never ventured out further, but I imagine that there is a ridge similar to what exists south at Pompano.

I am not sure if I am in for the big swim, but we can play it by ear. I will bring the BIG FLAG just in case.

Matt - make sure you bring quarters - metered parking is NOT free.

Sorry Showboat... somebody moved the jax :*(

When we went to dive the jax last week. We searched for a long time and never found them. We wound up on that little ledge out there, still a good dive.

I want to do the jax with you next time to make sure we hit them, you seem to nail it every time.

Is there an address you all are meeting at? Looks like my dive buddy may have bailed on me last minute I wanna get some bottom time in tomorrow and I'm willing to drive down.
Hopefully someone will post here before tomorrow morning with directions ect..

Sounds like its a shore dive I gather?
