Unfortunately, I have a contraindication (Keratoconus OU with Corneal Hydrops OS) which disqualifies me outright for Lasik --I'm actually in treatment & consultation for a possible full thickness Corneal Transplant for my left eye. . .:depressed:

I had Lasik surgery (10 years ago) and chose monovision and enjoyed not needing reading glasses for many years. My reading vision started degraded so I had an "enhancement" (5 years ago) to my non-dominant eye and once again extended my time without reading glasses. Worked great, unfortunately as we age so does our sight. Went back last fall to be tested and to consider another enhancement, but felt the risks too high. Now I use reading glasses as needed and am perfectly fine with that. My advice to anyone would be to do it at a young age to enjoy the benefits for a longer period of time.

There was no impact on my diving whatsoever.
