Labor day diving in Monterey?

I'm diving on Sat. I talked with Joe above and we are planning on meeting at 8am. I'm ready to get down there.

This last weekend was concerts up in SF so no diving - I'm feeling withdrawal symptoms.

You were right near my house all weekend Robin! Hate to be a downer, but I am happy to not hear those concerts anymore or to deal with the traffic. Man, I am getting old. Hahaha! Especially since I couldn't leave the house anyway because I was sick. I guess it's the fact that leaving and getting out wouldve been. So difficult even if I could...

I am not sure what we re up to this weekend. Would like to ty and do some diving....

yeah it was a royal PITA to get to and from golden gate park. i'm getting old too, my wife and I were both commenting on the venue being too spread out and too many people to be enjoyable.... but hey we got to buy 7$ beer in small cups.

Eh, I am going to be a landlubber this weekend it seems. Gatita's vet bills are making it prohibitive to make a trip down to Monterey. I'll see some of you the following weekend, however, for the super-mega-blowout-M&G!

Sounds good Robin - My experience has been that I can't get tanks until 9:00am on a Monday? Hopefully this isn't too late for anyone. I really enjoyed diving Butterfly House and Lovers Point with Devin last time I was down and I haven't been to Mcabee yet, but like I said before, I'm up for anything.

I'm not sure if there are any dive shops open in Monterey open on Monday (since its a holiday and all). Might want to verify this to avoid making the long trip down if you can't rent the tank (or get it filled) Monday morning.

Also, if you guys want to start a little later on Monday that's fine with me (although I like to meet at 8am, no later than 9am, but I'm flexible). I'm just gonna take off around 2-2:30 though.
