Weather Underground gave 100% chance of rain today, but of course it doesn't mean it will rain all day. I do have to remind myself of that. Current conditions mostly cloudy, from that site. Cozumel, Mexico Forecast : Weather Underground

I don't like diving in rain for a number of reasons, but it's usually better than not diving. :(

Well, they were correct - we had a short shower somewhere on the island today = so yes, it rained on the island and could rain again somewhere on the island.

It's always been that way here. I'll use this example for Magnolia's sake since the "weather is always great" at my house according to her! It could literally be pouring rain at the airport, (a mile away from me) and not a drop at my house! Or pouring here and not a drop out on the boat! Last week, I was out on my run in the north hotel zone, hot and sunny! I stopped at Mega on my way home and the sky fell out for about 20 minutes - I had to wait it out because I was on my bicycle. As I was coming home, the street went from soaked to bone dry within a block - because it hadn't rained north of that point! Just about anyone that has been here when it has rained has witnessed this.

Don, certainly you know that rain doesn't close the port!

MMM, I thought this whole thread was about a storm coming to Coz. Not about diving in Coz. ??
