I talked with Alan !!! 
Mostly I talked with his wife Bonnie. They move him out of ICU today and removed his chest tube early this afternoon. They have been doing some therapy with him. He's doped up still and has memory issues but still it was excellent to hear his voice!
For years of time now When ever I call him I always ask about delivering a Pizza.
So I asked. " Have you got that Pizza for me ????"
He said, "no...... I ate it on the way."
He asked, "Whats The Temp. ?"
I told him it was 70 degrees here. He said he could see snow and it was 17 degrees there.
I suggested he stay inside
I said we all miss him a lot !! He misses us too.
That's about it. That's enough.... I got to hear him.
I told Bonnie about the fund raiser the Scuba Board folks were doing and that pleased her. I didn't tell Alan, She said he would not remember it anyway.
His son Joseph was released so he and his brother Mark will be making they're way back on the Bus.

Ok we are at $1270, way to go TSD!!! I have had multiple donations from Texas Swamp Divers , The Deco Stop group and more! What a wonderful testament of our little group of divers in these tough economic times. Over and over again everyone says the same things in their emails, "for Alan and his family". I know Alan will be overwhelmed with gratitude. Really great job everyone, spread the word, even $5.00 is welcomed, anything will be a wonderful gesture. We have had very generous donors who wish to remain anonymous. I can only say that y'all are really coming through in such a short amount of time.

My being overseas right now and has caused issues with my paypal account. Where can I send a check from my bank? I'd make the check out to Bonnie, and it would be a bank check, so she'd be able to get the funds right away.

I'm in the same boat with In10se. It would be better if I sent a check. Do we have a bank account set up for them yet, or can I send it directly to Bonnie?

I've been out of the loop.
Sorry to hear that Alan and his lads were hurt.
However, its great to hear of his progress and seeing everyone to pull together.
This is an awesome Group and I am proud to be a part of it.
Frank- I would like to propose Texas Amish diving t-shirt.
It would be an easy way for people to buy something and if done right can provide direct support to Alan and family. It would be a nice way to say we support our own.
