Sorry, Mwhities, I can't help you out.
I've been off the road for some years now.

The Kraken did yield, nay lending a hand - it's long since ago,
that he trod upon land
The grass did encroach, the trees they did spring - When the call of ocean,
in his heart it did sing.
"Farewell to the ground", he verily did say - Now waist deep in water,
he swims slowly away
So look to waves, in the midst of the sea - The Kraken is there,
and forever must be.

oh sing me a chant o midnight star
Of a place in the west
on a mountain afar
where one might allow
their fears to rest.

denisegg:
Through the dark of the night I have nothing to fear
For I will always remember that midnight is near
The treasure of evening you bring to me
As I wait at the ship's bow my star to see

I hear not from the Midnight Star this night
Will he be conceding much to the Pirate Lady's delight?

Sit here on the rock, let all fears there alay - For the thunderous winds now here,
cannot stay.
It blew from the east, and from the west it did flow - No movement in silence,
the winds did not know.
It rang from the north, from the south it did thrall - Now calm peaceful silence,
befell one and all
As the morning then shines, across the mountains high peak - It's peace you have found,
no more for to seek
In the guise of the wind our hopes were dismayed - by the voices of those,
who not ere did pray
Yet the song of a few, now heard in the land - Is fear not my dear friends,
for all's in my hand.

Alas, to a party tonight I must go
And when it will cease...no one doth know
I may not be back on the morrow to rhyme
But fear not I will be back before another midnight doth chime....

denisegg:
I hear not from the Midnight Star this night
Will he be conceding much to the Pirate Lady's delight?
The Pirate Lady has sought, a star of bright light - Who now sits beside her,
on this wonderous night
The magic of stars, the coolness of breeze - Bears ever so slightly,
on her cuffed silky sleeves
With the night yet still young, as the waves lull us on - We stand on the bow,
before the setting of sun
From ages long past, to times found in lore - We have always thus met,
like now and before
Before we have sought, a night such as this - As the morning comes nigh,
this moment we'll miss

denisegg:
Alas, to a party tonight I must go
And when it will cease...no one doth know
I may not be back on the morrow to rhyme
But fear not I will be back before another midnight doth chime....
So off she must go, while I sit on the shore - To seek a path elsewhere,
I see her no more
One day she may come, to the night once again - And there i'll be sitting,
just waiting ...

for her on the shore.....
I cannot concede that the star of midnight doth shine
Forever more brightly than anything else I might fine

The light you do see, is but a reflection in me,
of eyes that have warmth like the sun
For a poet you be, and a heart you've set free
In a way that is never undone.
