And there did they bide til next the rising tide,
when the morn's mist with soft feet, slipped silently away to the dawns soft light to greet.

The warmth of light upon their faces fell,
and birds calls wafted of sea sprayed air,
while Venus's foam from the ocean deep,
left delicate rings of sparkling stars,
upon her wetted feet.

The Kraken arose, from the dark briney deep,
and oceans were silenced, not even a peep.
With wind and the waves his words came to be
A thunderous trumpet, like rocks in the sea
His wisdom was born, from the depths far below
His truth laid at rest, the world to yet know.
Then silently he sank, neath the sea yet again
Till he calls us back yon, in the waves and the wind.

Once again the sea beckons me
To pilage and plunder and rob at sea
A pirate lady I shall be,
But A star can follow a ship out to sea
And at midnight on the bow I will wait for thee

The Kraken commands the sea with a roar
So we must ask for his blessings before we leave shore
Not a sail will be hoasted on the White Pearl til we agree
That the power of the Kraken resides with thee

Then furl up the mast, and cast out yon sail - For the star is thus bright,
with ever a tale
Of moonlight and waves, on a clear even day - and a breath of such faith,
you'll n'ere lose your way
So stand on the bow, with trumpet in hand, his star comes to meet you,
and guide you to land
Where out you shall reach, and be a pirate no more - no more shall you seek,
on this beautiful shore.
It is there we shall sit, at side and in hand - in the love of this light,
ever lighting the sand
Till finally it comes, a last wave it will be - when the rush of the ocean,
brings such beauty to sea

Since this thread has no particular topic and I'm not a poet (Sorry K) I'm going to ask this:

Does anyone know any businesses in the MS, AL and NW FL locations that needs IT consulting or anything to do with computers and etc? I'm willing to travel to any of these places to get work. If it works out that they pay gas or gas and lodging of course, I'll do it. I just need some money and NOW. New car, baby on the way and bills are stacking up, this means I have no time nor money for diving. Honestly, it doesn't have to be computer related. I can learn and do most anything or at least willing to try and do something.

Please keep your ears open and see if any of you might find something. If it works out well, I'll pay for a of diving and food. (Redbull and Hooters if it's SBM. :p)

Will do Mike :) I'm looking towards Florida for computer related work now myself. There was a tech job in central florida, around Orlando - I think, not sure if it's still there though. If you find some good comp jobs in Florida, save one for me.

Ohh, just to clarify, I am not wanting to move, just travel to work. If I have to work 5 days a week and then drive back here, that's fine. I just need as much work as I can.

BTW, thanks Star. :)

Anytime. :) I'll ask a Malware fighter (a friend) who also lives in Alabama ... might know of something there; i'll PM you with any info they can give us.

Good luck with job hunting! Computer jobs are not as abundant as they were back in the 80-90's. :(

Through the dark of the night I have nothing to fear
For I will always remember that midnight is near
The treasure of evening you bring to me
As I wait at the ship's bow my star to see
