Now Howard it does not take meds to rhyme
It only takes inspiration when the bell tolls the midnight chime

Midnight shall return, in the blink of an eye - for outwards he goes,
a mission quite spry
An errand must be ran, before a tick goes by - then back once again,
across the heavens to fly
Wait for the sea, feel the salt in the air - for Midnight returns,
with other moments to share.

Port Tack, please come back,
To reason and rhyme, your words don't lack
Why "see and saw", cause you've got quite the knack
So, write once again, that we might yak.

Midnight says wait for me by the sea
So in the moonlit night there I will be
As the waves crash and fall back to the sea
The starlit night calls out to me

In the surf did she wait, as the sands washed away - at midnight he came,
as a glimmer of day
Down came the star, to rest at her feet - a glimmer on the waves,
the two they did meet
Rising up as the sun, she held it so dear - twas the first time a star,
has ever been near
In the sparkle of light, glistening softly with care - she lifts the fading star,
back into the air
The morning has come, as the star fades away - we'll shore here again,
later on in this day.

Phil, briefly asked "Where can I get some of that?"
Denise did not say, those were her's on this day
The day did not pass, as Phil welcomed in,
the promise of said meds, in pill, lid and tin.

Never again will I be quite the same
As that fateful day when the midnight star came
As the waves slowly broke about my feet
I dreamt of the night we would once again meet

In the twilight of silence, in a dream of the night - his star yet did wait,
just there, out of sight
Till the morning would wane, and the darkness should fall - his star would shine bright,
ever heeding her call
Coming down once again, he sat by her side - In the warmth of the sand,
both caressed by the tide
Through the mist of air, she heard him once speak - never again be alone,
ever here will we meet.

Alas but a pirate lady I be
And the sea she doth beckon to me
To sail the seas with the wind in my hair
But as midnight approaches my star will be there
