Way ahead of you here as that's one of our standard tests in cases like this. We reconstruct as much as we can. FWIW, you can actually get about 5-7 breaths on a reg that's had the air supply turned off.
5-7 breaths at what SAC rate and depth? Just teasing you, Ken.
Was out at the boat today with a number of folks who were at the dive park when the incident occurred, including some who assisted in various ways. Must admit, given everything I've heard over the last 32 hours, I'm even more confused. Will wait until we hear the official results.
Very sad to see this happen, especially in front of so many students and a few Discover SCUBA folks. I'm, sure it made many of them feel uneasy about diving, but also may have driven home the fact that SCUBA can be life threatening OR that health risks need to be assessed to ensure highest probability of an accident free involvement in the activity OR that it is best to maintain yourself in the best possible shape. Hmmm, excuse me while I go work out.
