When they refer to the Perdix as the "newest member of the Shearwater family", I'm not impressed. Buy it from Dive Gear Express and save yourself some worry.

Yeah seems like the store is a licensed dealer on shearwater website and if my local store cannot price match then I’ll likely go Ahead and order from them , thanks for all the feed back as always folks , helped me in making my decision

Right. All it really means is that you'd rather ask your question on social media of complete strangers (some of whom are much stranger than others) than to actually check dealer status.

Be careful with PayPal too. I have heard of some getting burned and not getting satisfaction from them. It pays to be extra cautious. I have used them with tyransactions up to $4,000 but I quickly moved the money to my regular account.
