Hi everyone ,
Is this link / online store / dive shop real or a scam , they have perdix ai listed for 935$ which is at least a 60$ savings .

2. I saw that buying a perdix on diverightinscuba doesn’t give you reward points , is there any other reputable online store that you guys know that does points or rewards programs that I could do most of my scuba shopping at and also get some discounts through loyalty program etc

Thanks

Hahahahahaha

One of the more important ways to verify their legitimacy is to communicate with Shearwater directly to verify this vendor first. I'd buy locally or from a reputable known online vendor even it costs me more money.

Shearwater lists all licensed retailers on their website. It is a couple of clicks and you'd have your answer.

The shop you linked to is iDive Florida (Scuba Diving Shop for Gear, Equipement, Rentals in Saint Augustine, FL) and it is based in St. Augustine. It is listed as a licensed retailer on the Shearwater website. I actually saw their shop when I was there in December. I didn't stop in.

With that said, I know absolutely nothing about the shop and cannot recommend them nor say you should avoid them.

Force-E has a very nice customer rewards program, has 3 (and soon 4) very active brick-and-mortar shops in SEFL, and also sells online and over the phone. They do carry Shearwater and are a licensed retailer. I deal with them all the time and can highly recommend them. I've been using them for over 5 years as one of my primary dive shops. Give them a call and talk to them about what you are interested in and specifically ask about their customer rewards program and how it works.

I know nothing about them but their website looks legit to me, they accept PayPal so you can buy with zero risk anyway.

It may not be the type of rewards plan that you are looking for, but I use a credit card that gives me Aeroplan points which are redeemable for flights on Air Canada or other "Star Alliance" partner airlines. You might be able to find a similar credit card option that works with the frequent flyer program of an airline which you use. It can reduce the cost of traveling fairly significantly.

For dive specific rewards programs, if you do underwater photography, Mozaik has a customer loyalty (rewards) program.
