OK, I'm signed up and I chose AquaticDiver for Sunday morning with the assumption that it will be the EAGLE!! I'm on the other boat Saturday afternoon for the Spiegel...I didn't move fast enough to get on the Duane trip in the morning.

Now to find three roommates...

Walter....Now...Now...You know all you have to do is call me. Why don't we change the AquaticDiver on Sunday Morning to an Eagle Dive. It's a little far for Blue Water to go.

I'm in Champaign. I went last year and it was a great time. My wife got certified since then and we are both going this time. Great diving, good food and a chance to dive with people from the board.

As I'm seriously considering joining the SB invasion, I was doing my due diligence investigation, etc. and I notice Conch Republic's 2007 price website says the annual Artificial Reef Medallions are "required to dive all wrecks": http://www.conchrepublicdivers.com/diving_divecost.html but the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce's site says it's a voluntary $10 donation and that participating dive shop owners can encourage their customers to purchase: http://www.keylargochamber.org/snorkel.htm

If it's required (as stated on CR's website), it's not a voluntary donation, it's a "tax" of sorts as I see it.

Are other charter ops making the purchase of the wreck medallion mandatory?? I've never had to buy one and wondering why it's required/mandatory with only Conch Republic?

ps. Purchasing the ARM will not have a bearing on my decision to attend the Invasion, it's just something I noticed.
