BigJetDriver69,
Just a FYI...I picked up my Prism last year (March 2002) from Peter after being on the waiting list for about 6 months. Peter informed me of the 6 month wait prior to putting my deposit down on the rig. I love it so far and haven't had any problems whatsoever.......Happy diving!

Prism Topaz: Peter Readey is a very fine gentleman, and I believe his equipment to be top-notch (I was committed to buying one at one point.) but, to my knowledge, no civilian deliveries have occurred in the past two years, although there are people who have had deposits in for that long.

According to Peter Ready there are over 100 non-military Prisms out there.
(Though I don't know if they were delivered or picked-up ;) )
As of two weeks ago, the waiting period was 16 weeks.

after being to the factory last week, my guess is thats about what APD ships each month maybe more...

I spoke to 1 dealer over in the UK that has sold 25 inspirations year to date...

APD has some interesting stuff for release in the future..

SMI are second to APV in sales of electronic closed circuit systems.
I don't know where you got your "information" from but I can assure you that recreational sales and deliveries have continued at a steady rate since January 2000.

Evolution? I cant wait!

thats just the beginning....

Yeah, that little teaser does like to talk dirty ... :D

I can't figure out what the hold-up with the Evo is. With the same working principle, just smaller size, they ought to be able to get it to customers ... :upset:

In an interview MP said they're working on a CO2 monitor ... ... that'd be really nice to have on any RB.

Evolution is awaiting the new hanset electronics, which have 2 CO2 monitors in them, one to monitor scrubber usage and the other scrubber breakthrough

Even better, Martin tells me the new handsets and co2 monitors will retro fit the existing units and they are wrist units

See competition from the HH is working already!!

All to yet be CE'ed

Personally a smaller unit's of no interest to me, I'm building a bigger one!!! with 7l tanks. 2L cylinders are too small to be of any use below 20m for bailout
