Louie:
For all those who said: "I am monogamous", can you ask the same thing of your partner(s) and how would you ever know if they were being dishonest.

I know he's monogamous, because I keep him handcuffed to a beam in the basement, so I trust him implicitly :11ztongue

The Kraken:
The ability to join into a monogamous relationship is one of the factors that separates the cognitive selections of homo sapiens from the instinctive selections of homo erectus.

That same ability helps define a civilized society from an uncivilized society.

That same ability also distinguishes between an oaf and cad, and a gentleman and husband.

Yeah. Its a tricky trade-off (please pardon the alliteration).

evad:
Monogomy is fine. For a while.

all things in moderation, eh?

:eyebrow:

i think those people who swear up and down about monogamy
are zealots, no different from eco-terrorists tying themselves
up to trees... except they are not eco-terrorirsts, nor do they
tie themselves up to trees... well, some do, but that's ok
because everything is copacetic between conseting adults.

but as you point out, this monogamy thing taken to the extreme is
just dangerous, and it's gotta be stopped before it kills somebody

Does Monogamy lead to Monomania? At the moment I am a practicing Monogamist, I hope I'm not a Monomaniac.

Awwww! And I thought it was a good thing when my girlfriend told me that I was hung like a gorilla. :sulkoff:
