One year ago I found a link here on the forum to a site with pictures of the "right" way to tie backup lights, SPG etc to stainless steel clips.

I have unfortunately lost that link and wonder therefore if anyone in this forum have that or a similar link, containing photograps of the correct attachment technique.

Sincerely

Anders

Tieing a boltsnap.

The link that I used to use a while back doesn't seem to exist, but I'd saved the old page and pics. These are temporarily available in a 275k zip file from my site.

Cave Rig -boltsnap ties

Edited:
I edited the link to reflect the new location of the original info on the DiveRite site.

Another supplemental site in addition to the one Wendy mentioned below.

there are equipmwnt photos on the site that show what you are talking about.

Is there a reccomended size for the bolt snaps? Does it depend on the item you're securing, backup light, spg, reg?

I use the 3/8" for lights and long hose, 3/4" for SPG, 1" for Stage.

Bolt snaps are independant of line, but rather dependant on whether or not you are diving with bare hands or thick dry gloves. I have to have larger bolt snaps because I use dry gloves, and can barely feel the smaller standard bolt snaps.

If you want an excellent reference on how to properly tie the bolt snaps to the backup lights go here.
