Here's the Deep6 o-ring on the left and the
PAI 30-103 9746 on the right

The Precision Associates o-ring is
2.62 mm x 0.762 mm in 70 duro FKM
$0.55 each, from my special order
30-103 is the Imperial size, and 9746 is 70 duro FKM.

The dimensions from PAI provided a near-identical OD and very similar frictional characteristics with the poppet and balance chamber. I tried six different sizes before my custom order. This had the best performance.
Remember that the poppet shaft seals to the balance chamber via the OD and the top surface of the o-ring, when pressurized.

Before the cost floors you, as I recall, Marco Rubber quoted me $2-7 per o-ring depending upon material.

The 2mmx1 orings are defiantly too big.
Sorry to bring up an old post but why do you say they are too big? Do you have a D1 and have measured the orings to be smaller than the 2x1 spec'd in the orignal service manual?
