Hi everybody from the Lake District in the UK

Just new to the board so thought I would introduce myself. Have only been diving for 4 years.

I was travelling round Oz as a 50th birthday present to myself and decided to do my Open Water in Byron Bay (my favourite place in Oz). Travelled up to Cairns where I went on a liveaboard and did my Advanced Open Water.

I now have 56 logged dives so have not really set the world on fire but have tried to dive twice a year. I am a bit of a warm water softie but have dived in UK. I went to Sharm last October for 2 weeks but only managed 4 dives due to an ear infection. Needless to say I was not a happy chappie. Just recently came back from 2 weeks at Sipadan where my ears were fine and the diving was stunning.

I'm off to The Red Sea again in July on a liveaboard for the first week down to St Johns and then a week in Marsa Alam.

I am always looking out for other places to dive so please tell me where you would recommend.
