Hey all I am looking for a good basic wrist computer here are my preferences:

- some kind of "bottom timer" mode incase I ever actually take a fundies class
- ~200 range
- simplicity, functionality, low profile, and durability are all a plus
- nitrox capable

Here are the two I was thinking of:
Mares M2
Oceanic veo 100nx

but I am open to suggestions ... any input?

Did you check out the Oceanic Geo? It is an new non AI wrist they can out with this year.

J3, I like my M2. Although it's not all that low profile, it has all the rest you are looking for. Plus it has user changeable batteries and a permanent backlight for night diving.
199.00$ at Scubatoys.
I'm quite happy with it!:coffee:
