He is Here

He is here, my first grandbaby made his first surface interval into our terra firma at 7:10pm last night. Colby Payton, weight 7lbs 10.7oz, 21 inches and what a set of lungs he has. Once he cleared his lungs he got going good. I got to stand outside the birthing room and heard him take those first breaths. It was wonderful. I already have his first dive t-shirt, Future Diver, ready for him. Both Mom and Dad are doing great. My son was a terrific coach for his wife. I just can't wait to hold him now. WOW, just don't call me grannie, I hate that. I don't feel old enough to be a grannie.
