Shore dove two step several times (4) because it was so awesome. Easy entry and exit, tons to see and you can pick whatever profile you want - shallow or deep to your own liking.

Where is this site? I can't locate on shorediving.com. We'll be there Oct 30 and diving with Jack's as well.

The site is also known as Place of Refuge or "Pu`uhonua o Hônaunau" and is located south of Captain Cook - about 1/2 hour drive from Kailua. Parking is free and as I mentioned, this site is a real treat.

Jacks was great for the Manta dive; Keller runs a good dive. If you are looking to shore dive, we used Big Island Divers for rentals and were very happy. Their policy was tank return by 6pm the following day which means if you pick up at 8:30 am, you get two days for $7.50. Fills were about 5 bucks or you could buy a card of 10 fills for $35 I think.
