Hey, that's were I and the gang were Saturday 8am-5pm...I was probably the one with ketchup smeared on the side of my face...gotta love those double cheeseburgers!
 
WCL and I were there Sunday midday. Viz was awful on the south side. We went without hoods--big mistake! It was cold below the thermocline, and I had my first run-in with the killer bluegills. I'd heard of them nibbling ears, but one of the little buggers swam right up and bit me in the chin! Now I'm sporting what looks like a hickey. No, really, folks, it was a fish... ;-)

Did it hurt? Any ideas as to why the viz was so bad? We made two dives between 10 and 1 on Sunday and coulnd't have had more than 5 feet below 25' or so.

I think the water is warmer that it has been in previous years and there is more algea growth.
 
Thanks! I have been wondering about that for awhile now! Guess I better go down and see it one of these days. Can't be this weekend though. I am scheduled for the big lake! :-)

According to the quarry site, this is a LARK, or LRC 5. Some sort of Vietnam Era amphibious thing.

Nope, no big belly!...however, let's see what 10 years of diving and Tina's burgers do down the road! With that, gotta run...
