Good morning all,
I resigned from my current LEO job and took a LEO position with FWC. I will be temporarily living in Tallahassee for 8 weeks (Aug-Oct) while I go through their training course. I am allowed to leave the campus on the weekends and because my home is so far from there, I will probably stay on campus most weekends, which will leave me with plenty of free time to dive and do some other fun activities. I am not familiar with the area at all but I hear there is some great diving and such off of the panhandle. I also want to start spearfishing and learn how to free-dive. If any of you live close to the area and wouldn't mind showing a guy around the dive spots, I would really appreciate. I will actually be located in Quincy which is an earshot from Tally. If not, any advice or area info for such activities would be much appreciated. After training, I will be assigned to Volusia County.
