You might be right. But, I can give a pretty fair assessment based on my experiences diving and some other judgement items...

I can fairly say this one is approx. 6' long and approx. 450-500 lbs... based on knowing the diver next to it (and that they can reach 8' and 1000 lbs)

I dunno; sounds too high, but since I'm not going to bring my bathroom scale down w/ me.... yes, I know, you can measure the cicumference and extrapolate the weight.....

All I can say for sure is yes, they are big, and we are fortunate to see them - they are a success story as 10 - 15 years ago it looked like they were on the way out.
 
XLCH, we have got to work on our communication! A few more from the weekend w/ JDC.

The latter 2 came from the debris field north of the wreck.
