DMP:
Hey Brian, you up to a night dive then?

Thanks GTXL...

And keeping things about the Meet and Greet...

There likely will be a night dive on Friday and Saturday night. So, it would be advised that as Paula stated earlier that people that want to participate stay away from the home brew. I plan to do both night dives. Weather conditions may change these plans.

If the vis and weather look like the dive is "just plain stupid" to do, I don't imagine the night dives happening. But, otherwise we can do them fairly easily and it is a great place for newer divers to get some experience in night dives :) .

Ted,

JoeDelt said that he and his wife were bringing brats and sausages. I think that may have been posted on page 8 or so. Hopefully Tony and Dan will be doing us the honors of another deep fried turkey again this year. I am sure that as the event gets closer everyone will be able to confirm their attendance and a passing dish. I have attended Meet & Greet I & II and have never been disappointed by the food selection. You can also add s'mores to my list of things to bring. Will someone be bringing milk this year?

It is as inevitable as death and taxes.

OK here is an updated list if Im missing something please let me know and please lets keep the chatter down so people can get their info to me or please PM me
.......
Tinny Bubbles
1. Beer
2. Diver Down Potato Salad. he didnt say but he has to bring it.

By popular demand, looks like I'm bringing Diver Down Potato Salad and beer.

I don't know if I'll be camping or staying in Findlay or making it a day trip or what. The baby will only be 5 months old so we'll just see how things go... I do plan on at least showing up for the potluck.

Like I said earlier, I'm a dessert kind of girl. I'll bring some desserts and some bread too. It would go well with all those 'hearty' meals. :) And if you use it just right to mop up your dishes you won't have to wash 'em!!!!

No problem there Brian, I will abstain till after the dive. Always easy to call a dive in case of doubt especially when we do not have control of it. Got a new 7' hose now.

OK wreckers it is time once again to put this thread back into shape. It has now seemed to veered off into DMP's personal pick up post. Save it for the meet and greet or PM's PLEASE we have 20 pages here and only 1 really contains any info on the meet and greet. I dont mean to be a hard ***** hear but I know I dont like having to wade through 20 post to find out if any thing is important has been said or someone has pointed out what they are bringing so I can update my list.

Thank you

Sorry about that, not a pick up post.....they are my dive buddies not meant to hijack the thread....Looking foreward to hooking up with the gang.

Gtxl1200:
1.Bunk house which by the way all bunks have been spoken for unless people want to have a private meeting with me and we can talk bribes and greasing my palm with green paper and other such methods to advance you to a bunk and bump somebody out. If you have a sleeping bag and dont have a tent I do have some floor space available. Read above about moving off of the floor to a bunk.
2. GLWC Sign Tom said I can come and get it. But I better hurry since he is moving.
3. Name Tags. For those of you who we havent met yet.
4. Baked Beans
5. Coffee pot
6. Generator

Notsoken and several others BEER.

So we have beer, bunks and coffee so far so. We can indulge in adult beverages and have a place to sleep but we still dont have anything yet to eat. So either PM me or post on here what if anything you will be bringing. and I will update this list to keep everyone informed. of what we have so far and what we still might need.

Mitten Diver
1.Grill
2.Snacks. With my request the tex mix that stuff was darn good last year.
3.Huge Tent with cots.
4.Camera but for only those who attend what goes on at meet and greet stays at meet and greet.

Diver Paula
1.Tripod and Iron skillet
2. Something else she mentioned but Im not going back through 20 pages to see what it was so Paula let me know what it was.

Diver Brian
1.One Loaded Down Mustang with extra equipment.
2. Paper Plates Napkins and Plastic wear. Brian I volunteered you for those since your single and it would be easy for you to do.
DMP
1.extra equipment
2.Tent.
Tinny Bubbles
1. Beer
2. Diver Down Potato Salad. he didnt say but he has to bring it.

Joedelt
1.Brats and sausages
2.Cookies and dessert

Pennypue
1. dessert

We still need food people. Are we just going to fend for ourselfs this year or do we want to chip in and get one main meat? Then we will all just bring a side dish to pass. let me know.

And another note It is not final yet still working out final details but it looks like I will be bringing a new and improved larger GLWC Bunk house. which means more room for wreckers to sleep. While Im on this subject for those of you that arent familiar with the GLWC bunk house it has full refridge and freezer for anything that needs to be kept cold or frozen. So dont worry about that if your brining something that needs to be kept cold or frozen. Plus anything that needs to be heated at meal time can also be done.

It looks like I'll be coming.
just got a 1/2 cow put in freezer but might be gone by then :11ztongue

I make some great dutch oven (can get 5 14"ovens )foods, pizza, chicken, nachos, soft tacos or ???

I can bring pop (toooo much beer in my younger days)

What about firewood, I can haul some but not a lot since I got a truck camper.

I'd do some night dives if I make it back from Oaho and w/ an AOW card.

Tim,

I wouldn't think that you need an AOW card to do the night dives with us. We have several experienced divers with us and I think that we had many wreckers that did their first night dives at Meet and Greet I with us and some were waiting on their advanced class. I have some extra lights and would be more than happy to someone those lights to do a night dive.

If someone wants to do one, this is a perfect opportunity in an enclosed environment.

Brian
