Camp sites galore! All primitive as far as I know, however.

dmax tim:
I'm new here but have dived Gilboa before.

I'll try to make it if I'm not camping w/ the Boyscouts.

I'll be diving Oahu the fist of April so the cool water should be fun.

I'm NAUI OW and hope to be AOW by the time I get back.

What about camp sites?

Are some reserved or do we need to get our own?

Randy, I know they have sites
'Do you enjoy camping? There are over 26 shaded, primitive camp sites all with easy access to diving entry points. To make your camping experience a little less primitive, we offer the convenience of clean restrooms and hot showers.'
Some have electric.
Just wondered if u guys we're reserving an area?

Last time over there, I got the last spot and got there at 8 am on Saturday morning.

If I can make it, I'll be in at 5pm on Friday and leave Saturday nite and bring my 9' truck camper.

One reason that three people have stated that we are going up on Friday morning/afternoon is to hold onto the back end of the quarry sites. That worked out well for us last year. It is farther from the entry docks, but off the main drag so that we don't have every vehicle driving by creating a dust cloud and to allow us to gather in a small crowd without disturbing anyone else.

Hey dmax, I know that I should have said more in that post and mentioned the hot showers and all. I simply didn't have time at that moment. I'm glad you mentioned those things, however.

That gnomes name is Cyril....or at least that's what he told me when he arrived at my door some years ago.... ;)

Due to Mr. Murphy visiting during the dive, I was not able to tell Cyril hi or catch a pic of him......third dive and had a freeflow, really fun watching your gass leave and being helpless, thank god for the buddy system.

Mr. Murphy may have visited, but it was a short visit. Thank God for the seven ft. hose as well. That makes for a long swim back to the dock on a short hose.

That was quite true.. Thanks Brian appreciated the help.

Mitten Diver:
Ray,

Will the labeling match your GLWC famous potato salad?

You know, I hadn't even considered labels until I read your post. I'll see what I can print up... If it passes inspection when I taste it in 2-3 weeks, that is. I just bottled it tonight. How does "Down the Hatch Wheat" sound? (It is a wheat beer.)

What's the oldest homebrew you would drink? I have plenty of old homebrew sitting under my basement bar. Tonight I cracked open some stout that I estimate to be 3-4 years old, and it's pretty darn good.

"Down the Hatch Wheat" sounds good to me.
