Divin'Hosier, did your salsa class use knives and other utensils. That may have been what caused the hip problems.

No, but it did involve a hot Latin dance instructor. :eyebrow:

No dives on it yet, but that 40 can't be as bad as that ******* brick you had me carry!

:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: It wasn't a brick it was a concrete block:rofl3: :rofl3: Hoooo boy,:rofl3: I can't breathe :rofl3: :rofl3: Nothing like having your staff come back from setting up something your students are going to have to retrieve and the dive briefing goes like this:
Student: How'd it go?
Staff: It SUCKED! Good Luck!

:rofl3: :rofl3: I think I'm going to pee my pants :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

We could do that, but the last buddy pair would not have the security of rescue divers overhead. Depending on numbers, sling tanks could be transferred when the first pair (or group) surfaces.

That means I get a lot of back to back dives since I'd like to compare my computer with as many people as possible. My regular students don't let me dive deep back to back like that without at least an hour SIT, I train them to look after me :D

I like diving with the bricks and the orange juice jugs best...Two of those make a dive interesting.

Okay, Jodi called me and basically she didn't know any more than the girl I talked to when I called up there. So, they don't REQUIRE that you have a pony tank, but they recommend it, but they might require it if they think you need one. ????

I got an AL 30cuft tank from Dive Guy Scuba just in case I fail the interview process...

I have a copy of the Gilboa deep diving planner

Here is what it states:

No one is permitted to dive below 80 feet without one or more of the following items:

Doubles
Pony Bottle
Redundant first stage
Under instructor supervision

Also helpful but not required

Hang bottle at 10 feet
Oxygen bottle
Environmental Regs
Computers
Dive Light
Trox
Tri-mix

Looks like U guys are gonna have a fun trip.... I'm thinking it will be more fun than going to NC.

Cheers

JC
