I wear a size 11ee shoe. With my drysuit sole (like a pair of chuck taylor all stars) and two pairs of socks OR a 5 mill wet boot, for playing in the surf I wear a XL tan delta and its perfect. I don't have the comfort insoles but woud like to try the fins without the wet boots one of these days.

Etype- eee is the width size in american shoes. Sizes from narrow to widest is: A, B, C, D, E, EE, EEE, EEEE, EEEEE, Sasquatch.
That last one is tough to find at the rockport outlet.

thanks for the explanation nyresq...(eeeee) i was just going to ask. The comfort insole is just a foam padding for top of the boot. It is hideous expensive for what you get...or not for what you get but for how easy it is to make one yourself.
It's a piece of smooth foam or neoprene that wraps around the top of the inside of the boot unit, with a piece of velcro glued on to strap it down. I don't like to cut into Bob Evans pie...but come on...costs like 35 cents to make in bulk...why not throw it in with every set free? Same with the velco heel straps? I think the comfort insole is like $19.00USD !!
I should scan a diagram and up it here...except that would violate scubaboards policies....

but anyway, despite that, for using with bare feet it's just plain the most comfortable fin in existance.

If it's not too late, don't buy your FF until you try them on with your booties!! I bought a new pair of booties and FF from Leisure Pro and asked them to make sure the FF fit - NOT.

I returned the FF and bought the FF retail (cost me a 1/2 day off work), since I was leaving on a dive trip is two days.

My second pair is the Pro and they are fantastic. I especially like the new bungee strap.

First pair of FF replaced because they would not fit my new thick-soled booties.

:) I've got a pair of Pro Force Fins and they're the best ever! A few people I dive with can fin backwards, but I've yet to master it. Force Fins are for you if:

You want to move effortlessly through the water
You want to be able to get your fins on easily (even when wearing a drysuit) - thanks to the unique bungee strap
You want to be able to walk around whilst wearing you fins
And if you want to look reall cool

etype once bubbled...
types of forcefin kicks: the 'discoduck', the 'camelwalk', the 'mashedpotato', the 'locomotion', the 'bunnyhop', the 'fug'. And then there is just freestyle, nonstop pogo-ing

Hey etype... you up for helping a person learn these kicks, or at least see them in action?

sure...get out my blue suede forcefins...brush off my rubbersoul suit....put on the nemo brown, the codfather of sole and his famous manta rays, and the soulsistas and the mermaids are shakin it, im a slave to the rythmn!
Watch it now!

No actually i'm far too modest...insane....but modestly so.

Or maybe fell while walking with Jets and hit your head ...
Could be if he's of the Dancing It Right crowd and was just mocking Force Fins ... ;)

One of the kicks you can do with Force Fins and no others is to scull backwards with them. It’s great to move back a bit when taking pictures. I use them in warm water, wreck diving and when taking photos.
