Great shots! I'm also equally impressed with the amazing water clarity in Bonaire. Unbelievable how you took such clear shots, virtually no backscatter, using just the camera flash and ambient light. What great diving that must have been, clearly 100 ft. viz or better and perfect clarity. Not to take anything away from you, absolutely great photography on your part, but man...the water! Stunning!

Very nice. You'll be producing some outstanding work in short order, no doubt!
Can't wait to see 'em :)

Dude, you are GOOD. Some of them I can tell the circumstances were a little "sub-ideal", e.g. the nurse shark too wedged in there to get a good shot, but if you keep this up, I'm sure your results down the road will k*** a**. I think you already have a sense for composition that I don't see in a lot of "first-time" pics, leave alone in my first uw images. Do you do a lot of topside photography?

Anyhow, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the info, underwater photo is new to me, hopefully all that college and 12 years of commercial photo will help. ;)

Of course left the "game" when web started - so out for almost 10 years. Now what to do with that doorstop eos 1.

Installed CHDK last nite on two cards, highly suggest this to all who do not have RAW capabilities, get large (2--4 gig) cards and save both RAW and jpg. Get it here.

If anyone needs help - let me know. I am a computer :dork2: .

Thanks, as for topside, yes but not as much as I would like. I have been diving for 26 years so I think that and having a saltwater reef tank in our home helps with some of the compositions. I just wish I did not start only this year with taking pics underwater. I have to thank diver85 for all his help once again with the info on taking good shots. Hopefully only better will come. I am pretty happy with these being my first time out and cannot wait for the next trip in a few months! Here are some of my topside shots...http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/abc-islands/231925-some-my-favorite-above-water-shots-bonaire.html
