Here it is again. First of the month. Test all Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms.

Done, also ordered new ones for the main areas of the house , to replace old style basic model smoke alarms.
Thanks for the reminder, I have been putting it off.

You can't rent or sell a place in Australia if they are not installed, I am not renting or selling...But.
I also have these in the house and travel with one to Resorts such as in Bali, carbon Monoxide alarms.

Being in Queensland soon unless you live in a shoebox you will have to install ten

Very true, how many would you need down South where you now live, say for the standard 3 bed, double garage house ?

My place needs a "shed load" of them to be legal, 4 bedroom, 1 with an on suite , 2 living rooms, main bathroom, double garage, kitchen, dining room, laundry and an extra area attached out the back with an extra shower and toilet, all on one level.
Unlike the Queenslander we once had that was massive, 5 bedrooms etc, etc, ad Nauseam.
You would have to sell a kidney to fit the old Queenslander out with the required stuff now.

And if you have beams they want alarms between each, in case smoke gets caught without flowing further
