Looking for something that will support frog kicks. Where my split don’t. Mainly for travel. I have jet fins and they are to much for my legs. Mainly warm water. 3 mm most times. Some times 5 mm

Wetsuit or drysuit?
Bootie type and thickness?
what size feet?

Deep Six Eddy fins are very popular around here. I certainly like mine. For sites like Cocos Island with strong currents the DiveRite XTs work out better for me and they're still maneuverable. The foot pockets in either are much more comfortable than the Jets.

ScubaPro Go Sport is my recommendation, not as aggressive as the jet, but still a great fin. I like my Mares Quatros as well but they don't back fin or travel as well as the Go Sports.

If Jet Fins are too much on your legs, you are likely to run into the same problem with the Deep 6 Eddy fins, the Dive Rite XT fins, and any other "tech" fin because they are all, generally speaking, stiffer fins.

Split fins are the far opposite end of the spectrum being that they are easy to kick but lack power. Some split fins actually do work for frog kick, but I digress.

The most modern approach to fin design is something like the Scubapro Go Sport which are light weight but very powerful for their size.

But there is a reason why the Mares Quattro have withstood the test of time which is that they flat out work for most divers and with any finning technique.

Mares Avanti Quattros. They are arguably the best all around fin, they have been around for a very long time and are a straight forward no nonsense/no gimmick good fin.

As sayed DR's or Quattros

I had ScubaPro Twin Jets for years. Then I went to Tusa Hyflex Switch. What a difference in propulsion with the Tusa fins. I am totally happy with them. The foot pocket can be removed from the fin for travel. The vented and slightly curved design provides for a strong kick without fatigue on the knees.
