Hi, everyone,
I'm a rookie guy just finished the OW course.
I wanna buy my first fin. Because it's my first fin so I don't wanna cost too much money. And I always travel a lot, so I need the lighter ones.
Of course, the performance should be average level.

If u have any suggestion, please tell me, thanks a lot and happy new year!

The Mares Avanti X3 worked pretty well for me...they were lightweight, fairly effective, and inexpensive ($50 on LeisurePro.com). They also come in a nice variety of sizes.

Of course, fins are very much an individual preference...

Thanks a lot, my firend.

Mine are Aqualung Baldes 2. Those with the little thigny that allow for unclipping the fin when the dive is over. When shore diving and with waves, it is so easy to remove the fins. Just unclip and voilà! free to go out.

The fin are a bit stiff for regular kicking (at least for me), but with frog kick, they are perfect. Also frog kicking doesn't disturb the silt so...

Mares Avanti Superchannel. Easy kicking fin. Good price and recently, been a tester's choice and best buy fin from Scubadiving.com (dive magazine that does all equipment testing).

Thanks, I've read that test before: 18 New Fins - Scuba Diving Magazine

Supercannel sounds good. but maybe Mor-fin Natural Delfin is better for business trip:rofl3:

How about Mares VOLO POWER(US$ 100) or Mares VOLO RACE(US$ 50)?

Aeris Velocity Fins. Cost via internet is under $ 50.00 (full foot, $ 85.00 open heel) and are very highly rated. Probably one of the best performance/cost ratios out there, plus they are not very heavy. I have had a pair for about five years and with over 160 dives on them they are still in great shape.
