OK so I have been following this thread because as an instructor I would want to avoid the situation that lead to sad outcome. I believe that:Are you thinking that Rob was certified to that depth? Or were you thinking other things, like Rob had been warned by other people not to take it so fast? Or that maybe that Rob was just diving beyond his limits. Or that sometimes bad things happen to folks you wish it hadn't?
a. Rob had a newly minted cert card to dive to those depths,
b. Rob lacked the experience to understand the risks of that given dive,
c. Sotis may or may not have rushed the training in order to meet some timeline (just based on internet speculation) and;
d. divers die doing what they do. Not always is it someones fault.
