Hey all!

I know how much you all love "noobies", but I'm in need of help! Looking to buy some gear (just invested in the basics until I decided how much I liked and would dive. Basics being 3ml wetsuit, fins, snorkel, mask), but having some jaw issues, I'm thinking about buying a reg so that I can have the mouthpiece that works best for me easily accessible. Found this on Kijiji:

Oceanic Regulator & Octopus System... - St. Albert Sports Goods For Sale - Kijiji St. Albert Canada.

Can someone please tell me if this is solid equipment and a good deal for the price? I'm LOST and don't want to be ripped off...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks!:)

I waited for a ScubaToys sale and got my reg (Aeries Ion) for $349 and it came with a free octo. If you just need something that will work dependably, and couldn't wait for a sale, the A1 is $179 and the A1 octo is $79 so that set would be $260 total. This is a barebones workhorse reg and while it won't breath like a dream, it will work :)

That person is asking $200 and you'll need to get them serviced and pay for parts so I don't really think it's a good deal. It costs me $75 to have my regs serviced and that is with free parts because of the lifetime warranty. (Plus that octo looks weird to me, but I'm a newer diver so maybe it's just an older style.)
