I have never found the need to trim a silicone neck seal as they are pretty flexible. I take a 17.5 inch neck size in shirts.
I was just going to say the same, for me I never cut silicone where is meets water, I use slightly cut wrist seals under dry gloves but found on the gloves to keep them dry.
 
Right. Because, obviously, you are SO likely to change to a different dry glove system...

Probably not, but not entirely a "no" either, but only if I could swap back and forth. And since they haven't figured that out it wouldn't work for me, lol.

Maybe one day they'll figure out what we want🤷‍♂️
 
Always had a neoprene neck seal. Never had issues with heat, but, as @stuartv said there were trickles down the spine. Harmless most of the time.
