This is Kathy Long with DUI. I came across your thread. One idea might to be toss a fleece vest in your dive bag. Lots of people have these in their closet already. This could easily be added and won't restrict the arms or legs.

One very nice thing with drysuits - insulation is adjustable depending on diving temperatures. Have fun experimenting with what works.
 
I just wear a lavacore jumpsuit under my drysuit for water in that temperature range.
