I have been trying to figure out the same. I am heading down to Tulum to do cave diving in the fall ... what is the water temperature in MX? I imagine it is higher than the 70-72F that we get in the FL caves
In general, you can count on the caves in the Bahamas being a couple degrees warmer than Florida and the Yucatan being a couple degrees warmer than the Bahamas.

Active mexican cave diving instructor plus giant crybaby about thermal discomfort here.

What I wear for my ~500 dives/year here:

All Fourth Element
xerotherm socks
xerotherm bottom
drybase top
xerotherm top
that fuzzy vest I can't remember the name of

That translates to probably 150g give or take all over and about 200g at the core.

The Arctics are too warm for me. Distractingly, uncomfortably hot under the halocline.

Fourth Element just released a new version of it's Xerotherm line which seem like it might be up to the task. Not sure if anyone has had the opportunity to try them out yet.

I think that about matches my usual mix of arctic top and Xerotherm bottom… no base layers under them…

I’ve used Arctics while in MX. Our run times were around 2 hours twice a day.

water is about 22-23 c depend. 5 mm will do

It's 77f in the fresh water and 80f in the halocline seawater. How deep the halocline is depends on the amount of rain that happened recently, I was there last week and it was at least 45ft down which was unusual but likely due to the recent hurricane.

I'm lean and usually finish an 80min cave dive shivering a bit in an ancient beat up 5mm which is more like a 3mm now. You warm up in the jungle quick and jump back in for a second dive... I'd go with a fresh 5mm or possibly even a 7mm if you are a very cold person.

Cave temp is typically around 23C throughout. I would imagine a drysuit with plain long underwear would suffice for your 2hours twice a day diving. Still easier to pack (if trilam) than a 5 mil wetsuit.
