My prescription mask is eight years old and not a scratch. I even had the glasses put in a new mask. And I'm sorry to say I'm not always very careful. So breaking them three different times your friend is doing something very wrong or find an other company to buy your glasses from because they are doing something wrong. The glass for the mask should be special toughened glass.
