Hi Guys,

Aside from Halcyon Manifold, are the any other DIR Manifold from other makers? I'm going double (AL/80) and would like to get some good suggestions here. Thanks.

Look on the GUE site, or read JJ's book, but I think if I remember correctly, the only "prerequisite" that is required is rubber hand-wheels. Of course 300 BAR is a plus as well.

I've heard good things about the Sea-Elite manifold and the Dive-Rite manifold, but I've heard that the DR manifold no longer comes in 300 BAR.

I have a Halcyon manifold on my AL80s, works great.

Halcyon just re-badges the Sea Elite manifold. It is a nice solid (shall we say robust?) manifold and is available in 200 and 300 bar. I have one on my 95's.

The new Dive Rite manifold is where its at. Double barrel o-rings, rubber wheels, but it has a really cool recessed burst disk. Big plus, IMHO. Also, it is made in 300bar.

I've read quite a few reports of contacting the celing (as much as we try not to, it happens from time to time) and rotating the busrt disk so that it leaks, or worse, shearing it off completely. A raised protective ring around the disk might save your disks from destruction. Definetly take a look at the new DR manifolds.
