FYI, the YMCA OW course requires 200 yds entrance/300 yds exit, neither of which is timed.

Timing is pretty irrelevant when plenty of time is given. Everyone in my YSCUBA OW course back in '96 completed the non-stop 300 yard swim within the GUE time limit. And everyone passed the 50ft underwater swim and 15 minute treading water test too... It's not all that difficult.
