So now there is something wrong with doing business with commies?

Don't get me started. This is Fin City and ain't the place.

Bob, thank you for the generosity with your time.

Well, after careful consideration without any resort to trying both, I just ordered a pair of ScubaPro Jet Fins. Compulsive? Yes. But even if I end up loving some other type fins years from now Jet Fins appear so popular, not to mention iconic, that it'll hardly be a waste getting accompanied with them. And I have a sneaking feeling I might love them. Other threads seem next to unanimous that they remain a great fin, perhaps the best. Damn, even Walter seems to like them, so they must be fairly special.

Thanks for the input.

The nice thing about the Jets is that you won't spend the rest of your dive career trying to defend your purchase or being laughed at by other divers. :shocked2:

I have never had to defend my purchase, I let the fins to the talking, almost without exception people that said something about my ForceFins before the dive wanted to borrow them for the second. Once you see how easily and accurately I move with them on, few question them.

Although my favorite, was the guy who said those things will never keep up with the currents... then 40 minutes later, I was dragging his butt to the beach because he was exhausted and cramping, a month later, he was wearing them too.

I've never had any real desire to try the Force Fins. I never had any real reason, not really dedicated to any one fin design, always loved trying new fins. I don't know how many pairs of fins I own, love diving with them all. I guess perhaps it was that every Force Fin owner I met (not that many) loved their fins to extreme. Perhaps, to me, they look funny. I've always felt that I have an eye for a good pair of fins. But I've never even touched a pair. I've always avoided the threads concerning Force Fins, no real reason, guess I was afraid. But for some unknown reason I've been following this thread. I've seen some divers I respect talking positively about these fins. I've seen a bunch putting them down. This peaks my curiousty. I NOW have to try these fins. There has to be something to these the way people carry on both pro and con. I guess I have to make up my own mind. I know, this is dangerous, it stinks of having an open mind. But I'm willing to take the chance of trying something for myself and face the possible eternal damnation that may await me (but I won't drink no koolade).

So thank you eveyone, I am now ready to try Force Fins. May God have mercy on my soul.

Zieg,
Thanks for your post! If you have any questions feel free to call us or email directly at Force Fins. Look forward to hearing about your Force Fin experience. I have inserted a link to another post I made that reminds me of what you have explained in your post! Thanks again for your support!

Did it occur to you that most of the "pros" are company reps and shills? Did you ever wonder why no reputable group or individual who conducts controlled tests on fins has ever rated the force fin as anything other than mediocre? Oh, wait, you are just caught up in the excitement of it all.

Hey Bob! That must make you one of the largest employers in the US!! :rofl3: How do you manage all those company reps anyway!!

Good for you Zieg!
If you give them a good honest test and don't like them, don't buy them!! I will tell you though, they won't feel like they are doing the job because they are that easy on the legs.

Does that make ME a company rep??
Man, I never even got a lunch out of Bob yet! :shakehead:
