I got a pair of Genesis Coronado in a package deal. They are small/medium. I want to take the finger grip off the spring strap and put it on my jet fins. It looks like I just push the pin out, but it is pretty tight at first try and I don’t want to ruin these fins, I’m going to find someone to give them to. I will recover the spring strap with the fabric cover from my jet fins.

It is press fit. Take a center punch and tap it out. That is, put the buckle with the pin over a piece wood or other with a hole slightly larger in diameter than the pin. Then with a center punch tap the pin out until you can release the spring. Do not fully remove the pin.

Definitely the best plan.......but two and a half months for delivery?
I think they are worst casing it (hope) but I have seen them for sale at one or two common Internet dive supply places, just don’t recall where, OP, if you want to hunt some down or order a set I can mail some loaners for the waiting period.

I appreciate it. I just didn’t want to force it.

The fins will still be complete, the same as jetfins, I just want the tabs on the jets like my RK3s.

Well, the pin didn’t push through, it had a shoulder on both sides, but the plastic buckle was able to spread enough to allow it to release. Got everything swapped over and put back together, it worked very well.
