Pescador775, dream on. Who are you? David?, Pete?.... May you have a nice Thanksgiving who every you. Love Bob

Well, after careful consideration without any resort to trying both, I just ordered a pair of ScubaPro Jet Fins. Compulsive? Yes. But even if I end up loving some other type fins years from now Jet Fins appear so popular, not to mention iconic, that it'll hardly be a waste getting accompanied with them. And I have a sneaking feeling I might love them. Other threads seem next to unanimous that they remain a great fin, perhaps the best. Damn, even Walter seems to like them, so they must be fairly special.

Thanks for the input.

So did you get the right size? There is a huge difference. The size large are just too weak due to the smaller blade area while the XL work well (for me). However, they are not MY favorite fins.

It seems to me that the jet fin could be improved considerably with a more ergonomic foot pocket and an extension of the sole to almost the heel.

I always think it is funny that the cheapest $3 shoes from China has a left and right, but people will pay hundreds of dollars for fins that don't address this simple comfort issue.

I hope Bob doesn't yell at me for this, but extending the footpocket along the bottom of the heel and improvements for the footpocket are only two of the improvements that he has planned for the ForceFin Jet. But alas, we have to wait, as he is focusing his efforts on finalizing the XXL Flying Force and the ForceFin UDT fin.

Don't forget to put the straps on...otherwise they could fall off!

:rofl3:

I think you made a good decision and you will like your new Jets. I have tried many different fins, but I always come back to my Jets. Have you thought about putting springstraps on them? I suggest you use the Scubapro springs if you do, they make life much easier for you. :palmtree: Bob

My most hated part about diving is taking fins off at the end of a dive. Do these 'springstrap' contraptions make this part easier???

Yes, both on and off.
